Insurance laws in the Cayman Islands are well established and contain explicit policyholder protections including the prohibition of 3rd party creditor claims against policyholder assets.
The Cayman Islands operates on a philosophy of transparency and has cooperation agreements in place with all major international regulatory authorities preventing money laundering and tax evasion. Under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and the Common Reporting Standard, the Cayman Islands has committed to the automatic reporting of financial information of every account maintained in the Cayman Islands.
